This is the privacy policy notice of KungFu.Life Limited. In this document, "we", "our", or "us" refer to KungFu.Life Limited.
We are company number 555826, registered in Republic of Ireland.
Our registered office is at 4 Rock House, Ashtown Upper, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow, A98 AF34.
Introduction
This notice informs you of our policy on information that we record about you. It sets out the conditions under which we may process any information that we collect from you, or that you provide to us. It covers information that could identify you and information that could not.
We regret that if there are one or more points below with which you are not happy, your only recourse is to leave our Website immediately.
We take seriously the protection of your privacy and confidentiality. We understand that all visitors to our Website are entitled to know that their personal data will not be used for any purpose unintended by them and will not accidentally fall into the hands of a third party.
We undertake to preserve the confidentiality of all information you provide to us, and hope that you reciprocate.
Our policy complies with the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 (henceforth “the Act”) accordingly incorporating the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Except as set out below, we do not share, sell, or disclose to a third party, any information collected through our Website.

Data Controller- The person, authority or organisation which determines the purpose and means of data processing, in this case, KungFu.Life
Data Processor- Anyone who processes data on behalf of the Data Controller, KungFu.Life.
Third Party- A person, authority or organisation other than the subject of the data, the Data Controller (KungFu.Life) or an appointed Data Processor
Data Breach- A breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access to, personal data.
Pseudonymisation- The processing of personal data in such a manner that it can no longer be attributed to a specific individual without the use of additional information. This additional information is kept separately and subject to measures to ensure that the personal data is not attributed to an identifiable individual.
The bases on which we process information about you

If the basis on which we process your personal information is no longer relevant, then we shall immediately stop processing your data.

1. Information we process because we have a contractual obligation with you
When you create an account on our Website, buy a product or service from us, or otherwise agree to our terms and conditions, a contract is formed between you and us.
In order to carry out our obligations under that contract we must process the information you give us. Some of this information may be personal information.

5. Information provided upon registering with KungFu.Life
When registering as customer, either by purchasing an individual course, or a membership package certain personal information will be requested from you to processes the registration. Additional optional information can be entered or will be accumulated during use of the Service.
This information includes:

Time zone;
Professional title (optional);
Company (optional);
Profile picture (optional);
Course progression and attainments (accumulated during use of Service);
Date and time of account creation and last access (accumulated during use of Service).
This data is stored within a password protected customer account.
6. Information provided on the understanding that it will be shared with a third party
Our Website allows you to post information with a view to that information being read, copied, downloaded, or used by other people.
Examples include:
posting a message our forum
tagging an image
clicking on an icon next to another visitor’s message to convey your agreement, disagreement or thanks
In posting personal information, it is up to you to satisfy yourself about the risks of doing so in a publicly visible space. You are free to post Sensitive Personal Information, but we hold no responsibility for any consequences as a result of you doing so.
Content and information posted on our Website will be stored, and we reserve a right to use it in the future in any way we decide.

7. Data processors we use
We use a number of data processors outside of the organisation in order to supply you with the Service and market KungFu.Life. Listed below are the data processors we use both in the provision of the Service and in our marketing efforts. The former involves us directly sharing your information with a data processor, whilst the latter may involve you sharing your information with the data processor as part of your use of their platform and your interaction with us on that platform e.g. Facebook.
Your data will not necessarily be shared with all of these data processors; for example, depending on the method you use to pay your data may be processed by either Stripe or PayPal. Meanwhile, if you do not appear in any KungFu.Life videos and do not take part in live streamed classes, then there will be no footage of you shared with our data processors, unless you provide it e.g., through a forum post.Not all of our data processors store data, and only transmit it. Where this is the case, this is noted below.
Whilst we look to partner only with organisations with an approach to privacy which is compliant with GDPR we are not responsible for the actions of our data processors. We recommend that you look at each data processors Privacy Policy to satisfy yourself with its contents.

8. Complaints regarding content on our Website
Our Website is a publishing medium. Anyone may register and then publish information about himself, herself or some other person.
We endeavour to moderate user generated content, but we are not always able to do so as soon as that content is published. KungFu.Life has the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discretion to pre-screen, edit, refuse, or remove any Content or portion thereof that is available via the Website, for any reason.
If you complain about any of the content on our Website, we shall investigate your complaint.
If we feel it is justified or if we believe the law requires us to do so, we shall remove the content while we investigate.
Free speech is a fundamental right, so we have to make a judgment as to whose right will be obstructed: yours, or that of the person who posted the content that offends you. This judgement will be made in line with our Terms and Policies, available here.
If we think your complaint is vexatious or without any basis, we shall not correspond with you about it.
9. Information relating to your method of payment
Payment information is never taken by us or transferred to us either through our Website or otherwise. Our employees and contractors never have access to it.
At the point of payment, you are transferred to a secure page on the website of Stripe or PayPal. That page may have our branding, but it is not controlled by us.
10. Job application and employment
If you send us information in connection with a job application, we may keep it for up to three years in case we decide to contact you at a later date.
If we employ you, we collect information about you and your work from time to time throughout the period of your employment. This information will be used only for purposes directly relevant to your employment. After your employment has ended, we will keep your file for six years before destroying or deleting it.

32. Retention period for personal data
